The Key to Tracker

Subscription Terms of Use

1. The Key to Tracker is to be used in conjunction with the Key to... workbooks. It is not a replacement for the workbooks.

2. Participating Members must agree to download any desired student data from The Key to Tracker before the termination of the subscription. Once the subscription has terminated, Key has no obligation to maintain student or class data for accounts whose subscription has ended.

3. Participating Members must agree that it is the subscriber's responsibility to maintain the privacy of student data and to hold Key harmless should student information be improperly accessed or distributed.

4. Term of Participation: Participation in The Key to Tracker is based on an annual subscription.

5. Participating Members must agree to release Key Curriculum Press (Key) from liability for technical, operational, and ethical problems that arise in the course of using The Key to Tracker.

6. Participating Members will receive at most three email bulletins per semester about the Key Online services, related professional development opportunities, and important update information regarding Key Online.

7. Key does not guarantee access from all computers or with all browsers. The Key to Tracker's performance varies with the speed of individual computers and the speed of the Web connectivity. Key makes no warranties as to The Key to Tracker performance or its compatibility with the computer hardware, networking software, or connectivity software of a school or its individual teachers. Participating Members agree to accept the technology "as is."

8. Participating Members agree:

a. not to post their Key Online or The Key to Tracker username and password information on the Web or publicly in any other way (such as in classrooms or in a school bulletin available outside the school),

b. not to distribute any username and password information to others on or off the school site, and

c. to report repeated misuse of The Key to Tracker access privileges to Key.

9. If these Terms of Use violate any school policies, the Participating Member agrees not to register for The Key to Tracker.

10. Cancellation of Access: Failure of the Participating Member to substantially comply with the Terms of Use, as determined solely by Key, may result in revocation of access to The Key to Tracker.

Preview Terms of Use

1. The Key to Tracker Preview is for the express purpose of evaluating The Key to Tracker for classroom adoption, purchase by a Local Education Agency (LEA), or teacher. It may not be used beyond the trial on an ongoing basis in place of purchasing a subscription to The Key to Tracker. Participating Members may not promote this service to others as a substitute for purchasing the Key to... workbooks or a The Key to Tracker subscription.

2. Participating Members must agree to enroll no more than 30 concurrently enrolled students in The Key to Tracker during the trial period.

3. Participating Members must agree to download any desired student data from The Key to Tracker before the termination of the Preview. Once the Preview has terminated, Key has no obligation to maintain student or class data for accounts whose trial period has ended.

4. Participating Members must agree that it is the subscriber's responsibility to maintain the privacy of student data and to hold Key harmless should student information be improperly accessed or distributed.

5. Term of Participation: Participation in The Key to Tracker Preview ends after 60 days.

6. Participating Members must agree to participate in The Key to Tracker Preview to release Key Curriculum Press (Key) from liability for technical, operational, and ethical problems that arise in the course of using The Key to Tracker Preview.

7. Participating Members must enroll in Key Online to access The Key to Tracker Preview and will receive at most three email bulletins per semester about the Key Online services, related professional development opportunities, and important update information regarding Key Online.
